As we focus on responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and protecting our patients, staff and community, we are tremendously grateful for the outpouring of support we have received.

If you are interested in donating unopened and unused supplies to be used at BID-Plymouth, please review the following list of items we are currently able to accept.

N95 respirators
Surgical/procedural masks
Face shield masks
Disposable gowns
Goggles/eye protection
Bleach wipes
Non-bleach wipes
Nitrile gloves
Hand sanitizer

Please note that we are unable to accept items that have been opened, and we cannot accept donations of food at this time.

These donations can be dropped off at the BID-Plymouth Philanthropy Office, located at 291 Sandwich Street (a small house next to the hospital).  Please email to provide details about your donation, such as the quantity and type of item.

Philanthropy Office Donation Drop-Off Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – noon


We appreciate this show of support from the community for our caregivers. In order to ensure that donations of food are safe for both donors and our staff, we ask that the following guidelines be observed:

Acceptable Donations:

  • Food must be prepared in a commercial kitchen
  • Food must be individually wrapped


  • Box lunches from Panera or similar
  • Individually wrapped submarine sandwiches
  • Individually wrapped snacks, chips, cookies, waters etc.
  • Pizza with slices in individual boxes

Unacceptable Donations:

Food that is shared

Examples :

  • Pizzas in one box
  • Homemade treats
  • Sandwich trays
  • Trays of lasagna
