With back-to-school season around the corner, BID-Plymouth staff did their part to help some local kids in need start the school year off right.
BID-Plymouth staff donated to a school supplies drive to fill brand new backpacks provided by the Salvation Army with basic necessities like pens, pencils, notebooks, and rulers. Thanks to employee generosity, they filled and distributed over 100 fully stocked backpacks to elementary, middle, and high school students throughout the community.
The drive was organized by members of BID-Plymouth’s Core Values Committee, a group of 12 staff members whose role is to promote the Hospital’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Trust, and Excellence. Through meaningful projects like this one, the Core Values Committee works to encourage employee engagement while giving back to the community.
